Term 4 - Book Week

Welcome to BOOK WEEK. This week in ICT the Year 1 children have been using Photobooth to talk about books. We are talking about our favourite books and the type of books we like to read and why.

Please have a look at our work. We were a little shy to begin with but then we got the hang of it and began to love seeing ourselves on the screen. We had to try and use a very loud, clear voice.

Week 7 - Room 1 Kid Pix

We have been learning how to use KidPix. Today we used the pencil to write numbers we then dragged pictures to match our numbers.

Week 6 - Year 1 Comic Life

The year 1 children have been learning how to use Comic Life. Today we used pictures from the internet and clicked, dragged and dropped them onto our Comic Life. We then added our names and a speech bubble with our room number. This is some of Room 3s creations today.

Week 5 - Room 3 Stories

We are learning to use the keyboard. Today we copied the stories we have written onto Kid Pix. We then drew pictures of them.

Week 5 - Room 4 Comic Life

We have been using Comic Life to share our information. Today we chose a country and then in the speech bubbles we wrote what we know about it.

Term 3 Week 2 - Maori Language Week

This week is Maori Language Week the Year 1 and 2s have been practicing saying some basic greetings in Maori.

Well it was a welcomed short week this week. So the Year 0/1/2 missed out on their ICT time this week.
